anyway long time no update so here we go...
I think i just went crazy. i was sitting watching tv. just some direct effect..thats right..i watch direct effect. i just cant get enough young jeezy and kayne west. anyway. i was looking around my basement. and realized.

i just came up with amazing ideas and i just need to get paid because about now, i have negitive 1.99 in my account.
So, I think this will be an all music journal entry, not for the lack of
other things going on in my life but more because I've been listening to
lots of very old records and buying lots of new ones.
Sweet baby. "It's a girl" in my humble opinion is in the top ten of pop
punk records ever made.. Hyper active beatles and beach boys-esque pop
punk from the bay area thats so sugary at times it'll make your teeth
hurt. This record has been out for around a decade and still holds up
against anything coming out right now.
Oddly enough another record that still out runs anything by todays pop
punk standards is from the Goo Goo Dolls its called " Hold me up"
...File this record under -unexpected goldmine of fast pop punk with one
shitty ballad and one fucking amazing Prince cover.
Asian Dub Foundation.
A combination of reggae, dub, ska but with drum and bass and techno
beats... Mix that with lyrical subjects about politics, multicultural
British society, and religion you have the most original thing I've ever
heard when I listened to it... "Community music" is the record to find.
Fantastic.
On the subject of music, from the UK..you should already know about The
Streets (garage rap), Billy Bragg (the father of folk punk), and Capdown
(hardcore meets dub meets ska meets punk) if you missed out find their
records now.
My favorite US punk band for right now is Dillenger
Four....smart, funny, interesting punk. Noisy when it should be, serious
when it needs to be, and not giving a fuck about trends or fashion.
